Hotel Metropole - 5 star -

Hotel Danieli - 5 stars - Its gothic lobby is breathtaking, this is Venice indeed. A masterfully restored palace, synonymous with the splendour and romance of Venice. Only steps away from the Piazza San Marco and legendary sites such as the Basilica di San Marco, the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. 233 luxurious rooms and richly appointed suites. Each room offers air conditioning, color television with international programs via satellite and pay TV, direct dial telephones and self-service minibars. (Editor's warning: if you get a scenic suite you'll feel like a king or a queen - or James Bond; if you get a standard room, you may end up thinking you would payed much less for a similar room elsewhere. Foscari Palace - 4 star hotel - One of the highest guest rating. Conveniently and centrally located, the Foscari Palace is situated in Venice, in the Cannaregio area, in front of the Cà d'Oro palace, near the main attractions and the most important museums of the city, a short walk from Rialto. Pensione la Calcina - 3 star - Excellent and small historical hotel located in the Zattere in front of the Giudecca island; the location is convenient for important sites such as the Accademia, the magnificent Canal Grande with its prestigious buildings and the splendid Chiesa dei Gesuati church with the Tiepolo's masterpieces. Best Western Hotel Montecarlo - Excellent location; pleasantly and elegantly furnished in typical venetian style. Very close to St. Mark's Square (and when we say very close we mean very close indeed: 50 meters!). Highly recommendable.

Hotel Bellini - 4 star hotel - At walking distance from the Venice train station, this accomodation can be very convenient and really strategic for your staying: Hotel Bellini is located 100 m from Venezia Santa Lucia train station and the vaporetto stop, 500 m from car terminal, and it's 9 km from Marco Polo Airport which you can reach by water taxi (or taxi/bus from the nearest Piazzale Roma). Water taxi is the best way to reach the harbour.
